The Lieutenants Benevolent Association contacted DCAS and the Deputy Commissioner of Personnel to voice our concerns in regard to announcing a Captains Promotional Exam while the results from the most recent Captains Promotional Exam (Promotional Exam 4500) has yet to be published. The Department has assured the LBA that they will attempt to publish the results of Promotional Exam 4500 prior to the deadline to file for Promotion to Captain Exam No. 4543. The commencement date to electronically submit on-line for Exam# 4543 will be Wednesday, May 7th through Tuesday May 27th.
