I thought we had a class of 2000 in feb of 94.....shouldnt we see our terminal #s jump like the last time??

According to the rumor mill website, we were -8 with 32 on terminal at this time last year. Currently, we are at +4 with 41 on terminal. However, looking at jooky's numbers, another 8 or 10 are scheduled to retire this month, followed by 11 in march and 12 in april. Therefore, it looks like the numbers are somewhat in line with last year's. FYI, they skipped Feb and Mar promos last year and did a big one in April (50)

Hey all, thanks to brat, just wondering, jookie and all others for the great information on this board. I am 36 names away so I am a few names away from being on the cusp. I know promotions are usually the last Friday of the month, I get back from my honeymoon the Sunday right after. If my number somehow gets called how would that work? Would I just be passed over, could I skip the promotion ceremony and just start bmoc that Monday, would I get promoted the following class with a retroactive date? thanks for the help guys!

Johnny I'm pretty sure that you would just start BMOC that Monday and your promotion date would be retroactive to Fridays promotion date

@Johnny.....i hear that if u have good reason to miss ceremony, then u would swear in at the office of EMD.....and then start BMOC. ur honeymoon seems like good enough reason. especially if its your annual vacation pick

A friend has a question for me--If ur chronic A at the time of promotion due to having surgery and missing over 40 work days will u get passed over??? I said probably not but anyone have a definite answer?? If u do get passed over do u have to go in front of carb to explain it was a legit reason?? Thanks!

bro.....first of all...chronic A is being sick 4 or 5 times in a 12 month period...THATS IT!!!!! the 40 or more work days deals with being chronic B....if you are sick 4 or 5 times in a 12 month period and you miss 40 or more work days...you are now chronic b!

I thought it would be more classes to go in overall than 1 since october!!!!! Thats just nuts-especially when all we heard was this list would start flying by with retirements and other things....so back to back at this point would be great but then it will shut down again for like 4 months!!

the guys in bmoc have said still to early and they have no word of a class going in for april. Hopefully the list starts moving but ill elt you know if bmoc hears anything.

I'm shocked that it's the 16th of the month (soon to be the 17th) and we don't have confirmation on promotions this month. Especially because ID card notifications would come down this friday. In months past, we had word as early as the 8th of the month. For what it's worth, this past friday, uniformed promotions stated that there SHOULD be 32 LTs promoted on March 28. This is in addition to the others who told me the same. However, confirmation would be nice. The Academy should know by now. Brat where are you?

This list has moved at a snails pace, there has been 1 class since october, its moved roughly 25 names in 5 months! So nothing will surprise me anymore not even if there is no class once again this month....

The list was moving at a good pace the first year, then it came to a screeching halt. I don't know what's going on. Trying to get any intel on upcoming promotions has been almost impossible. At this pace the list will go the full 4 years. I guess there just hasn't been enough retirements.

2011 forum is saying 75 sgts and 23 lt's for end of March. His Source works at 1PP even said his name "sgt keeney" The guy was right about January and February so it may be credible. I didn't hear anything personally but this guy doesn't seem like a troll.

He actually wrote 23 LTs for April. It's also possible that he accidentally reversed the numbers. So far, the number 32 has been thrown around. So 23 may be a typo
