I have my own problems. The East River may freeze with these chilling temperatures and I may not be able to cruise around and eat plankton which is my favorite food. I agree, yes, you do have your own problems; most adults have moved out of thier parents basements and stopped breast feeding long before age 14. Maybe you should tackle those issues instead of turning my thread into a circus.

As I said in many previous posts, this screen name/email is a collab effort between J-MAN and a few others who refuse to post on here or take part in this sophmoric forum.
That being said, kneedragger, I agree ( 1 ) was straight forward, and I know that we spoke regarding the protest, but the collab effort isn't just what I consider to be valid. Its for everyone. To be honest, without naming names, the argument for question ( 1 ) came from one of the more intellectual LTs that passed this exam. They presented a valid argument 98% of us would never of thought.
Stiggity, as usual you weigh in with nothing productive, thank you. Its not that I can't stay away, its that there are many of dozens of men who deserve this promotion who put in as much work as you. Some probably more. You, with a score of 72, act as though you cured prostate cancer. Realize, if you answered three questions differently you would be in the same boat if I answered three questions differently. You, a subject matter "expert" spent more time googling photos of captain crunch than even spending a minute pretending to help your colleagues. That is why when this is said and done you will have to live with your reputation, and I will live with mine.

I am trying to break those habits sir. It is tough when you've swam with your parents since you were a young calf. Perhaps one day I can evolve into a mature human that failed the Captains test and as such wants to invalidate several fair questions simply because he got them wrong. Perhaps this quest to maturity will bring me to change my profile pic to a clown and berate others for turning my post into a "circus." Oh the irony...

Ad naseum as I did with dozens of you. Then maybe you, assuming your're actually a Lt, will be motivated to mail some protests in. Instead of posting on a forum for no conceivable reason.

Wtf are you talking about? You're goddam right I got a 72 and I'm damn proud of my score. That test was hard as hell and I had a million distractions trying to study (3 young kids). You've destroyed any form of free flowing communication on this forum, not me. If someone suggests anything or even has a slight opinion that differs from yours you spew insults. And reputation? Really? Everyone on here knows who I am and they know who you are. My reputation is solid. I have nothing to hide behind. My former coworkers don't fuk with me on a daily basis and take jabs at me on this forum...yours do. So who has the bad reputation? This Jman/rumor emp/ protest 4500/ etc wants the entire exam tossed huh? There is a guy on this proposed list of passers that studied like crazy and failed the last few exams by a couple of points. He didnt cry or threaten lawsuits. He picked himself up and studied again and succeeded. Jman I suggest you do the same. You may build some character.

Enough is enough. The test is over with. If you passed congrats. If you are on the border then everyone else that passed hope you all make it. It's out of our hands now. It sucks being in that situation. Everyone has their opinion. It is what it is. Just wait to the decisions are made and take it from there. Happy New Years everyone. hopefully the tvb sees the test for what it was (****) and does likewise with 4500 as it did with the 2011 LT test. If not, a court will. If you're not helping with the protest why do you continuously post? To my understanding nobody on here wants or values your opinion. If you would like to contribute please email me. Hahaha a court will do the same for you that they did for the losers that were clinging to the 06 exam. Happy New Year Jman. Hopefully you have resolved not to be a failure on the 2014 Captains exam. I'll be waiting for time in rank to get promoted.

And as far as me posting on this forum ... I was on here since 05 exam x and as you pointed out you still hadnt hit puberty at that point. So I think Im entitled. Ive only used one screen name the entire time and many people value my input and comedic approach to an otherwise stressful process. Most people know me and love me :) Oh and please continue to call me Capt F.

hopefully dcas and the test validation board will realize what a poorly written exam this was and make the 10-20 necessary changes so it won't have to go to court. I am happy you have seniority on the forum and i am happy that you'll be a capt before you hit fifteen years on. You obviously have been studying hard long before i graduated HS. I am sorry to burst your bubble Capt F but I have had more phone calls texts and emails complaining about and cursing you than i have had about protests. You will also have to survive your well earned reputation.

I understand you passed and you have "time on" the forum, but I still don't understand why you post on my protest threads if you're not assisting in the protest.

Gunz had a lucky Saturday 3x in a row. So lucky that he was at the top of the list from the only 3 promotional exams he was eligible to take. And his reputation is stellar. If he's so hated why does he have lasting friendships with the guys that used to work for him on his crime team in the ****-hole Cmd he came from? He jokes around and has fun. What a ****ty guy. People texting u to complain about that need to realize that guys like Gunz take what is an absolutely awful and stressful process and bring some levity to it.

Im not looking for sympathies, im looking for protests. We all have a sense of entitlement, were entitled to a fair, reasonable, and well written promotional exam. I have had the misfortune of taking the two of the three worst written exams in nypd history as did many. Nobody that passed this test, pased by luck and Ive never said that. Inside people are another story. No hint at legal action, thats a realistic possibility.

Congrats to all that passed this hard exam. Good luck to all hoping for some double answers and throw outs. Seems some people are angry others passed. If u studied hard and did not make it I feel ya. I took this test more times than I want to admit. I failed twice by one point and hoped for some throw outs. Did not work out for me. I say do not have sour grapes towards the people that passed. Ya the test was tricky and a lot of nonsense filler but the end result is some people pass and some fail. We all wanted to pass but life is not fair sometimes. Everything happens for a reason. Expect the worst and hope for the best.
