I'm still hoping for jan. is it definitely no jan class?

I think it's too soon to say no jan.Just be patient and wait till the end of the week can't just throw in the towel every time wee don't hear something right away

FOR FEBRUARY

guys as i stated before...bmoc was told big class for february. Doesnt mean it cant change, but its always good news to start with a go for a big class then a no go. Now just sit back and see if it all changes.

If you guys look they were saying no Jan class 2 weeks ago.. last week they are saying there is a class Jan 6 of 44 people or so

I've heard from old timers that huge classes like 150 were done in the past; however, anyone else heard anything like that? Airborne C284 has only 1 post...

They put 150 in around 2002 then made half go back to their commands as white shields since they over shot and those half got promoted upfront at the end of the following month.

I dont see the new PA opening having anything to do with putting 150 cops in bmoc. If there was that much of a need they can simply run a day and 4x12 bmoc. Besides bmoc isnt going to the new PA as soon as they open they are moving in phases and recruit school is phase 1. There are at least 5 phases that i'm aware of and thats scheduled to take months.

As far as why they would only do 44 in jan and 150 in feb the only thing i could maybe see is they expect a mass of supervisor retirements for feb, but looking at the sgt retirement numbers i just dont see it. I can see as of now there are about 30 sgts scheduled to retire during feb but i dont see how/why they would do a class of 150.

I hope your right and 150 go in for feb but i just dont see it happening.

Big class is what is being prepared....bmoc wasn't told number wise....they said big class usually means 70 to 75

I'm about 2 classes away, say 120-130 names..

I was at BMOC today. Lt Ng said TENTATIVELY they are expecting a big February class for sgts. Also classes for Lts and Capts

Su madre can you ask the Lt if there is a max number for any given class and what that number might be. Thanks
