The Key's 2010 "Rewrite"

Are these two tests actually harder than real test or the same?

I dont even want to take the 2010 test right before our test.  It does nothing but wreck my confidence.

Managed a 76 out of 88 correct. That was much tougher than 2006, I was stumped on a lot of questions

I failed by a small margin, that test went to a lot of nitpicking administrative BS. Many questions hardly seemed relevant and often were just stumping on actor's duties not on knowing the procedures. Hate tests like that. That test was a debacle and had a lot of throwouts and doubles, so hopefully we don't see that on Saturday.

Did anyone see question 45 with the acceptance of gifts? they gave the answer as D...to review city charter. Doesnt the gift have to be from a business that is doing or intends to do business with the city for u to review the city charter??? This question looks all screwed up and if the test is all like that we will have issues

Question 45 had no right answer. You're right about that.

Yep, I was gonna post about that question. I got A and C mixed up regardless. I specifically didn't choose D because of the business thing. I still counted it as a wrong answer but I guess it was still the most correct since A and C had the recipients swapped..

If Saturday is like the 2010 rewrite the list will be 60 names and I won't be one of them, smh

For what it's worth, I find that the actual tests are written a lot better than the rewrites. Some of the answer choices are worded funny and the questions themselves are sometimes all over the place. The Key tries to do the best they can from memory to rewrite it, but a lot of times, I find them confusing. Not sure if this helps calm any nerves or not, but figured I'd throw it out there. I also don't think there was any math on this rewrite.

I too have problems remembering actors, and I can tell you now that if there is more a handful of actor questions on our test, my name won't be on that list either.
