Not stirring the pot, but in BMOC a few month ago they said they need 2 weeks to schedule trainings and such for an upcoming promotional exam. I physically walked into uniform promotions during AED training on Friday and I spoke with the PAA in there since everyone was at Gold Street. She said as of Friday, they had only planned for a Lieutenant's class, not sergeant. And that if she hadn't gotten a call that day, that most likely there would not be a class. She also said they need 2 weeks to plan for a class. Granted November 4th is two weeks away, you guys have up until October 30th 1800 hours for a finest to come down. I asked her how many classes normally go in a year, she told me 7-8. The current class makes 6 for this year, so another 2 would be nice for everyone. She also said, if you want ANY info on the upcoming LT test, to call the curriculum unit on the 4th floor of the police academy. I'm hoping the list keeps moving. I know alot of good dudes on the list that deserve to be promoted who are stressed out beyond belief.
Barring the sudden death of the list. I'll be eligible for that test. This isn't a rookie doing the Deion Sanders TD dance. It's a rookie mired in reality.
Brat should hear something soon. And Btw SuMadre24 if you are 51 away you're going in. Every class there are passovers. I also would like to remind specifically you I said you'd be made by Oct/Nov and you doubted it. I'm happy I was right.
Semp I'm not in the 50s. In 60s. I believe I'll fall jusssst short this time around. Last class had plenty passovers. The avg holdovers per class must be only 6-10
