In anticipation of a Lt test next year I am taking steps to begin preparation of materials and start looking over procedures. To focus my studying properly, can anyone advise if the most important procedures (Desk officer, Patrol sup, LOD, Dept Veh accidents, Missings, etc) for Sgt test are pretty much in line with the most important procedures to study for Lt? I know there are some obvious new procedures to study (SOL, Ops coor, Plt cmdr, ICO in 202 for example), but as for the rest of them is the level of importance about the same as for Sgt test? Also about how many questions can be expected from Admin guide? Thanks
You absolutely have to know those same procedures for the LT test. As far as Admin Guide, the average for a LT exam is 2-3. But they can be scumbags and put 5
anything is fair game on these exams. the 2011 lt exam had nothing from 202, 2-3 from 207, no CIMS, no LBB's and no AG . Its really a roll of the dice, you have to know everything, the most minute details in 211 may show up. expect the worst and hope for the best.
