I was under the impression that DCAS has nothing to do with when lists get cut and that relies on our dept. I thought DCAS is there to make sure the exams are administered fairly and lists are promoted impartially  and that's where their job ends. Same when it comes to throw outs.  It's done by a panel which is two sgts from previous lists and a DCAS member is there to only make a decision if the panel of two sgts can not decide on a correct answer. I could be wrong though about DCAS' position when it comes to lists.  I think it really is silly that every few weeks there's a new theory about our list lol. At this point it's so close there's no point in talking about it any more or arguing. We will soon find out.  I can tell you theories too.   Some one I know who was in the previous BMOC was told by an instructor the talk is the whole list is getting made and they are going to blow through it.   Now is this fact. Well you know what my opinion is about every one.  NO One truly knows.  But this does come from an instructor.  So there's a positive theory for every one for once.

My friend works for dcas and he says the whole list is getting made.lol yea the civilians determine what happens

I do not mean to beat a dead horse with this exclusive information but a friend of mine who knows a member of the DCAS exam committee said that the fate of the "low end" on the 2011 list will rely upon the amount of those that pass next weeks exam.  List of this exam tentatively shall be official as was the 2011 exam around April of next year. Good luck to those within that range!

Omfg....the lies that people introduce to this forum. DCAS exam comitee rofl!!.

I said list hits about 1000 by the end of the year and the entire list gets made by end of next year. Only cuts on this list are going to be the jam ups. That's been my opinion and that is still my opinion. And it's the opinions of all my colleagues that have some insight about hiring like brat does.

Once again they have all confirmed that there are no talks about cutting the list. Nobody has had a discussion about it. It's the least of everyone's problems with the UF250 problems and regime changes coming in a few months. Nobody cares about discussing wether or not they should make this list except you crazy EDP's with crazy made up "hooks" and "inside informants" it's the last thing on The mind of any executive staff member...... Close this thread!!!
