Hey Brat any news on when they might be finishing up the 2010 Captain's list? I hear conflicting stories of possible Captain promotions at the end of the month...Any info would be great

Apparently the process of creating next year's Lt exam has already begun. I'm surprised of no similar chatter about a Captain exam considering there are only 63 candidates on the 2012 list.

Similar thoughts. 63 people is 5-6 classes. That's a year and a half at best.

And that's assuming all 63 have a bachelor's degree.

 hearing captains test will be BEFORE the new lt exam
