Apparently the process of creating next year's Lt exam has already begun. I'm surprised of no similar chatter about a Captain exam considering there are only 63 candidates on the 2012 list.

Similar thoughts. 63 people is 5-6 classes. That's a year and a half at best.

hearing captains test will be BEFORE the new lt exam

Interesting, I've heard a rumor of possibly this year but that's highly unlikely at this time.
