Look at Personel orders two cops got promoted up front Johnny Wong from 88 pct and quinones from the 34 pct. no disrespect but only if it comes from brat confirmed.

People getting promoted upfront has nothing to do with a bmoc going in. These people were cleared late for the class they were supposed to be in, so when they got promoted upfront they actually have the correct time in rank. With that being said i hope there is a bmoc every month till this list is exhausted, but i just wanted to clear that up.

Well I guess anything is possible in this department. But lets keep it positive people.

Because the person got themselves jammed up so they got passed over? Whats the law suit there?

Upfront promotions normally hints of a upcoming class for that month....I have never seen upfront promotions without a class going in. I suppose it could happen but probably won't...January therefore looks good to me.

All this speculations but no real news.

Many, many Sergeants are promoted up front before BMOC down months. They are never used for patrol, desk, or details. They usually go to some EMD sub-unit or obscure office in 1PP. It's usually due to being passed over because of no fault of their own - credit hold, open investigation, or something similar.

Heard that January is a down month. I'm no brat so I can't confirm but that's what I'm getting at this moment.

Good but was also told things can change. I'm thinking if we don't hear anything this week than Jan is def a no go. And the instructors usually get notified few weeks prior to prepare for the next class and according to the Dec class nothing has been said.

Waited over a year after the test to hit 5. I witnessed 7 back to back classes and when It finally hits my turn I get the down month lol love my luck.

Lt's and Captains get promoted that Friday the 25th and start school on Monday the 28th. The50 Sgt's-to-be come in on the 28th.
