A lot of people who were passed over for time now eligible. Won't be a tremendous amount of movement on the list.

I am hearing that there are additional people which would make it impossible for those of us in the next "25" to accurately know if we are getting promoted

According to the list that Unborn and Dumb Brass have provided there are 15 that have been passed over that will be eligible for promotion on the 25th. That means that only 10 others will get made that day. So we are at 143 now and that will bring us to 153 or something in that area. I feel that any movement is a positive and that it gives all of us waiting to get promoted a sliver of hope.

No I agree. I have been basing my hopes off of that list for a while. What I am hearing now is that there are additional people in say, in the top 30, that don't appear on that list. Similar to the scammers that appeared after the list was published the first time

The only way to really know is to do a foil request to dcas. I have done it via email in the past and on a weekday if i sent the email in the am i received a response in the same day. The email address is foilrequest@dcas.nyc.gov, in the email tell them you want the updated list, include the exam name and number, your name and address. You can even get the list in alphabetical or numerical order.

The only thin Ng confirmed regarding a Lt's is that a group is getting promoted jan 25 and starting class on jan 28

Look the good LT. NG stated that at the end of the month there will be Capts and LTs getting promoted and about 50 Sgts going into BMOC. That's all he stated.

So if the above is true then a Sgt class is due to be promoted on Feb 22nd. That would be the 2nd round of Lt. promotions

I think there will be more than 25 lieutenants going in. Warwagon just posted on therumormill that they are down 17 with 36 on terminal. If this is true, and they are putting in 10 captains, this would bring us to 27. That's not even including possibles that come off terminal within the month.

I think 25 sounds correct, then hopefully, more LTs on terminal retire and another class for Feb....
