no queens u must be a sgt----only have to have 1 day in rank though and 2 yrs to be promoted. hope this clears it up

Wouldn't a spring 2014 Lt exam be kinda fast? I mean if the exam is given in say April 2014 and a list is established before the end of that year, it would seem likely many would die on the 2011 Lt list.

If you were in charge of establishing lists are getting the "cream of the crop", do you want guys with 19 manipulated answers to make a list? I know, that exam was extremely unfair, but IF there is a spring 2014 exam and the list expires in summer of 2016, it is possible. Or maybe there won't be an April 2014 exam? Who knows?

You keep associating the establishment or release of a list with the cutting of another. There are 661 candidates on this list it will not get cut. The 2010 captain exam had 15 total changes to double the size of the list to 128 and that one wasn't cut. So your cream of the crop argument is a moot point.

An April 2014 exam is probable in my opinion. It is also probable that the 2011 list will not go the full length of 4 years but will instead finish in 3 years. There is no way the 2011 list gets cut. Guaranteed

I don't think they will cut the list, I am just saying IF there is a Spring 2014 exam the likelihood goes up. My prediction? There will not be a Spring 2014 Lt exam, its too soon. But I have no inside info, just a wild guess, a stab in the dark, with some math thrown in to make me come to that conclusion. The list was only established in summer 2012, the possibility of a new list 6 months after a Spring 2014 exam would bring us to Fall 2014. Seems a bit early to me if they really want to promote the whole list...

i def think there will be a lt exam in the spring. I think this current list will begin to move at alil quicker of a pace in the upcoming months.

After the last debacle, this test is gonna be a ground ball. Real sweet if you got promoted off the 2013 Sgt's test...two softballs in a row.

Giving a new LT test a year from now sounds about right.
You figure this time next year the job will promote at
least 200 newLTs, which brings the list to around 350-400. The list is very small, why all this list cutting stuff?

If I remember correctly cry got in the 90s on the test but didn't have five yrs until january. So he was a Passover until he hit his five yrs. Once again stiggity shows what a bozo he is hahaha.
