Frankly I don't care about any other BMOC after this one. I will be a Sgt and I do not intend to look back. As for September BMOC, well let us just say we have had a good long run and the down sessions are upon us. ...I am just saying.......Good luck to all and see you at the West Indian Day parade.

I have a gut feeling that September will be a down month for sure. August graduation slated for the 9th of September? Well, were were due for a slow down eventually.

UPDATE: Oops I meant Sept 7. I stand corrected

Sept BMOC could start the 10th and end Oct 5th, so just the fact that August BMOC is ending relatively late doesnt mean anything.

However, as I am almost certainly going to be in the next class, I could see it going down for a month, because thats just my luck ;)

You were already exposed as being a School Safety or Traffic Agent a long time ago, just give it up. lol

As far as a September class it's very possible that they go down for a month, it sure seems like they're due for one. I'm less than a hundred names away so if its another large class that would be great for everyone who is close. If it doesn't happen, our time will come.

Thank you for your input, Brat. I am growing tired of this guy Yoyo stirring the pot in this forum by talking down to other cops and by insulting cops who want to bring up their collar numbers before being made. He basically rides your coat tails and ordains himself the forum hall monitor. For the record, Brat is the only true source of information on this forum. Anything else is guttural fluff guessed upon by people like Yoyo or even myself....Well some people's information is more fluff than sustenance.

**COUGH** Yoyo **COUGH**

END OF STORY!

WRONG!

You obviously have not done your math when it comes to the history of BMOC classes.  If i were a betting man I would say that the break most people were talking about before is about to come in the form of the month of September.

Instead of just using bold and a bigger font, care to explain why that 4 week period is "wrong"?

If you think that BMOC will be down next month, that is your opinion, that doesn't mean that mine is any less valid.

The reason I think that it has to be at least the 10th is that technically the August BMOC is running through Sept 9th

They are technically assigned to bmoc until they get permanently transfered to their new commands. So if they do field training after promotion they are still assigned to bmoc. This past bmoc may have done the field training up front as cops and are permenantly assigned Monday.

My two cents:

September will probably be a down month. To many things going on in September for it to be an up month.

I'm thinking sept and oct will be a go and the down months will be nov and dec. Who knows. For all we know there will be no down months or maybe 5 months in a row will be down. Don't kill yourselves thinking about this so much. Everyone's time shall come.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't c why Sept N Oct would be down. Due to the holidays, I can see Nov and Dec being those dreaded months lol

I think September will be a down month it's a very busy month we have west Indian detail, united nation general assembly, 9/11, and African American day parade all in the first 2 weeks so I'm. A guess September down with October and November ago for two last classes with December obviously being off and then back up in February

Heard from a friend at 1pp that there is a good chance of a sept BMOC. They need Sgts to fill a lot of open spots..

There is a possibilty of a Sept. BMOC. There are 30 Sgts. getting promoted to Lt. and 16 Lts. getting promoted to captain at the end of the month. If im not mistaken dont they have to do one/two weeks of BMOC. As the Job has shown anything is possible.

I haven't heard anything.. By the end of this week into the following week, I will pop the question about the September BMOC. We had a speaker from the shield unit and the speaker is retiring soon, so that's an extra spot open.

What did the shield unit speaker say? Sounds interesting. They didn't come to my BMOC. Did they day that you can easily pick your shield? I popped in and asked and picked mine in 5 minutes, no hassle at all.

Call me optimistic, but I am hoping for a class of 70 to go in in September. One step closer to promotion for the remainder of the list. Haterzz need not reply to this.

It's definitely possible.. Like the LT was saying, it's possible at the rate they are promoting.. With the Captains being promoted, the LT rank will have vacancies and so forth.. The LT told me that last year they took a break in February. I didn't hear about any other month as being a down month.
