Is anyone wearing what they said to wear in the 49? I already have the job why do I need to go like I am looking for a job interview? A tie? It is going to be 90 degrees!

Why wouldn't you wear a tie? You are management. Business attire is appropriate and befitting the rank you've earned.

I'm wearing jorts and my sleeveless Brooks & Dunn t-shirt.  I might wear my Dale Earnhardt #3 hat, but that might be unprofessional indoors.

Here's to you nypd231, #88 on the car, #2 in the points,

Great news on the other thread about several more classes going in. I hope its true.

This is the reason that the sergeant's BMOC doesn't get pre-promoted anymore. People going into the class with a chip on their shoulders.

1st two days of bmoc were brutal....and I never worked in iab or qniu. You are the 2nd guy to say I'm from iab...not sure where you're getting this from but your investigative skills are way off.

Funny though....how irritated people get over nonsense. At our promotion there was a 4 foot tall guy from staten island that spouted off to someone in our class "that he would choke out stiggityone if he knew he who was". Lmao...guy couldn't even reach my neck.

Come on, stiggity, you either lied repeatedly about previous posts unnecessarily, or you are lying about who you are now. Own it.
Previously you started you were in the low 30s in the thread where do you stand. You also owned to being in the 9/11 academy class in company 29-01 in that thread. It doesn't take an investigator, not even an IAB investigator, to figure you out.
9/11 class would give you a tax number approximately 929_ _ _.
List #
30. Lapinska - passover
31. Dixson - passover
32. Cirillo - female, tax #93_ _ _ _
33. Vitale - tax #929_ _ _
34. Williams - tax #93_ _ _ _
35. Bucchi, tax # 923_ _ _
36. Hacker, tax # 922_ _ _
37. Gallitelli, tax # 928 (graduated PA 7/11)

Not hard to figure out with your own revelations.

First, I know who stig is and he was never in IAB. Second, whether you like him or not, he is a good guy and regardless if you agree with him or not, he knows his $hit and everyone has to move on. Our list is out, promotions have started and there is no need to start guessing who anyone is that posts on this board.

You cannot get drafted by IAB from Inspections, just like you can't get drafted if you are a pct ICO, SOL or Admin Lt.

100% wrong. When given the green light, the super chiefs can grab whoever they want, regardless of their position.

An admin Lt from a Queens North precinct and a SOL from a Brooklyn North precinct both got drafted by OCCB a few months ago

I don't doubt it. I was referring to IAB drafts specifically. And to a prior post above: I should've qualified my statement with, "typically" as I am sure any 'super chief' could have anyone moved anywhere at his/her whim, but as a general rule, I've been told by several higher ups that IAB will not draft people from Inspections nor Lts who are in the positions of SOL, ICO or Admin Lt.
