3 to 4 years for everyone on the list to get made. The question is, what's your educated guess for the next Lt test?
I'm thinking mid/late 2015 or early 2016. Any other estimates?
Last test they made it to list #750. The exam was Nov 2006, so there was a 5 year gap between exams. There will at least be a 4 year gap this time, minimum. I'm putting the next test at the end of 2015, early 2016.
Not that we should rely on the past practices (we of all people should have learned this), it took 4 years to go from 1 to 750 from the time the 06 list was establised. It is more favorable for us that this list was established fairly quickly (7.5 months), furthermore the retirements show a steady pace. I think there will be less of a wait for everyone this time around, hopefully 3 years for the entire list.
There will probably be another one in October 2014 or January 2015. It will then take a year to come out. This list will be done in 3.5 years at the most in my humble opinion.
as soon as they promote half of the list, they will propose another test. it will take 6 month of studying and another give it or take 6 month to propose. by then hald of the remaining 300+ will get promoted. the only thing that will screw us is economic crisis.
