RE: JULY CLASS?

Andrew3929 - I was in same boat last class missed by a few names yet that allowed me my June vaca pick, some OT hours and another scammed summer month so don't sweat it. Great the temp for Monday is high of 89, gonna be fun in a tie.

SimpleSgt - I hope you catch a CD your fist tour on the desk due to some Impact Rookies mistake!!! Eat a Turd!!!

I've heard that we don't have to wear a suit everyday. A tie is mandatory only

Do not listen to Supercop, he obviously does not own a suit for him to be jumping to such conclusions.

LOL Rogain it's the truth, suit first few days then just shirt / tie. I'm not Buffy enough to roll w/ gun, shield, cuffs, mags, full cobra gear exposed like some on this job... Guess I'll be forced to rock a jacket regardless.

Stop complaining and just wear a suit. Try to look and act like a professional for the 30 days of supervisory training.

You can look professional not wearing a suit. It's gonna be 100 degrees. If u wear a suit ur gonna look more like a sweaty sloppy mess

You are a fool especially when the halls of the academy are air conditioned. Some people will never act professional even if their lives depend on it.

Only a few people in the June BMOC gave up the suit after a week or so into bmoc. The rest of us wore a suit the whole time. The female gave up on looking professional all together by the 3rd week, except for the female who went to brooklyn court section, she looked professional the whole time.

My cell phone died in the AM and after a meal charge. Atrocious. I mean it's just way above our pay grade and rank to truly embrace any of that. After 35 seconds at that type of job we'll be 50th in charge anyways. Hopefully the next few days fly and Friday isn't that bad... GONG!!!

Yeah totally useless. The second half was good though. Disorder Control will be less brutal hopefully.

They told us today in BMOC, that its defiently been changed to August 3. They are still up in the air about what they are going to do with us. Its either gonna be another week of training or they are gonna send us to different commands (not the old command ) so we can work with the P.S. or the D.O. til August 3

I'm leaning towards the fact Brat just might work in the Academy or even a step further directly with us in Bmoc. But that's a hunch (Duh). I personally for once agree with the job that if sent back to our own commands we may be forced out on the street and even though we are still PO's no one wants to do that. Since we are assigned to the PA til the 3rd they may be smart and desire to avoid any issues arising (Who's responsible for us technically and so on). I don't even have a locker anymore and my shirts have chevrons LOL...

Brat is good to go in my book always has been so I hope this becomes official for a fifth week. I'll play the game for four extra tours. Hey everyone let's do some defib! lol. GONG TIME!!!

I think brat went into the last bmoc class. Maybe she will make an appearance with us. It's probably such a pain in the ass paperwork wise to send us to another pct then a couple of days later have us back at the academy then more paperwork for new command. Doesn't make sense.

Good pt. There's some cop in OMAP who probably went from 2 months in the street to sitting behind a desk in the Puzzle Palace, making 45 hrs a month cash OT with weekends and holidays off, to look at precinct spreadsheets and maps making executive level decisions without even having the balls to drive through the precincts.

We screwed around w/ the current Sprint (Old version now I assume?) and a little bit of Arcs. That was actually useful since I suck on both and laying under the radar prior to class didn't spend much time on either system. It's funny I mentioned that after the computer training days, "What about Pets?" Figures LOL... But Pets doesn't change much from a cop to supervisor. Knight- The paper is due the day we are in the BX. Weird haha.

I would love to know who came up with the brainiac idea of having us do a paper on Leadership. (heads up due Thursday lol) What does writing a paper have to do with learning what a Sergeant does. Maybe it was the guys who are bored in OMAP lol

If you guys have an extra week, try to play with the supervisor functions on PETS. That's been my biggest hassle so far, especially coming from Brooklyn where we barely had it a few months before I got promoted. The summonses are easy, don't worry about that.
