That was the initial rumor, but with the new budget who knows. Rumor was that they wanted to put in a large class in July , and awiat for the new one in college point to open up and put in another large class. With this job God only knows.

2000 was never the number....it was always about 1500. This is according to APD. However, that number can change at anytime so it is never set in stone untill the weekend before the academy starts

They told the guys at bmoc today 75 were going in but I hear from 1pp that 49 is the number. I need 75 to be true but I trust 1pp more than the bmoc instructor.

Especially if there is no BMOC being held in July/August as some of the guys think. It wouldnt make sense to put in such a small number in.

The bmoc instructor is usually spot on. It may not be exactly 75 but when he says a number he is usually in the ball park.

No one is attacking you. I'm telling you the instructors said there is no confirmed number yet. They said they are expecting 50-75. I heard it with my own ears.

I just came talking with someone at uniform promotions at 1pp they said the number is 49 as of right now. It could change but that's it as of today.

So this is where we are at numbers wise for the top 200: 75 cops in now + 46 not time eligible +49 approx for next class = List #170 should theoretically be good to go. There were 17 passovers for other reasons in the first 118, so it is a tossup how many of those got cleared, and of course the x factor of passovers for the next class.

My math with these numbers say 190's to low 200's is in. I guess I'm out of the running for this class. 3rd bmoc for me it is.
