Just heard from 2 buddies of mine in the current BMOC that June BMOC is a no go. The next one shall be in July.



Just a heads up.



Any thoughts? Maybe they got hit with a higher amount of retirements than they expected? Might need to put a class in sooner than expected. I do not know but figured I would get some other opinions.

I have no sources for the release of the list but a reliable source told me a couple of weeks ago that we are +2 Lts with 40 on terminal.

Promotions have to do with RETIREMENTS and VACANT positions not $$$$. Economy is bad. Lieutenants are retiring at a snails pace.

 That's actually great! Cause even if it were 1 every other day that would still be about 180 a year coming to 720 over 4 years.  Just saying average of 1-2 a day is high and good news for eveyone!!!

And Crusty McGrittles is a huge troll. He works in my command. He's on the sgt list, good guy, just a clown, don't believe anything he types.

I'm sure after your list comes out they'll have a BMOC within a month or two, but it obviously won't go as fast as the SGT List.

but it would be nice if they "rewarded" the top guys on this list by promoting them in time for the Captain's exam.

And I say this as someone who is waiting for throw-outs to see if I passed.

 Yup. They sure as helll didn't care back in 2006 when the first class from the 2006 Sgt exam got promoted a few days after the Lt's test was given. furious

Not necessarily. They could release it the week of promotions. The 29th is a Friday, it could come out that Monday on the 25th for all we know. If I had to guess though, I would say next week or the week after
