July is most definitely a "no go". The academy usually goes down for the summer. The guys teaching the class typically have the best vacation picks and the basically rules out the entire month of July.
Things will pick up on August 6 and demand holds steady then there will be a following BMOC.

For those appointed on 7/9/07 that have a list number that has been already passed over or is in line to be called for the next class, is there a possibility of going into the June bmoc? I have heard that this has been previously done, and the job will just keep you admin for the week or so before you hit your 5 years. Any insight from anyone that might have knowledge about this would be appreciated, thanks
You are not eligilble. You will be skipped u can't be promoted with till 5 years. They cleared up list #230 because of so many Passovers. So thanks guys I'm going in next class because of the 50 in eligilbles.
If you hit five years in July, there is very high possibility you will be going in June. It happened to several people in my command. The criteria is five years to get promoted not five years to get to bmoc. So by the time you finish bmoc you will be good to go give or take a few days.
Incorrect, if you don't hit five years prior to, or during BMOC, or at the time of graduation, you will be passed over. You will not graduate before you hit 5, then kept a week. That being kept a week does not occur so you can hit 5 years, its done for other reasons.
My list number is in the mid 200 hundreds so I woudn't make the next BMOC anyway. But I'll end up in the same BMOC as you because of are time. Just hope for an August class.
Two, 3 months earlier? Who cares? Maybe my perspective is different because I waited 10 years to do this, but a month here or there means nothing in the scheme of things.
Never wanted it. I had a great time with the partners I've had and definitely don't regret a single minute. In some ways, I'm still surprised I did it.
