Did the judge order DCAS not to release the 2011 list? I saw on the signed copy she lined it out. Is this the case? If so, maybe DCAS will release the list before May 1st!!!!! NICE!!!!
Our list won't be delayed. I'm not a lawyer, but based on the wording in the suit, what these derelicts did was try to have a judge order an immediate injunction on killing the 2006 list. If you look at the document, the judge lined that part out. Meaning, the judge basically spit in their faces. At the bottom is says "OPP by 4/25" etc., that just means the city can file an opposition to the suit if they'd like. So while anyone can sue for anything and this small pool of people will get a chance to voice their overall displeasure of life in court on May 1st, the job has free range to do what they want because the Judge declined their demand (to immediately hold the list). The list dies on Monday, and their court date is May 1st, that tells you how seriously the judge took this suit.
well, this is not about the 2011 exam being unfair. IT is about some people who will die on the 2006 list. If this lawsuit was filed immediately after the 2011 lt exam i may think somewhat different. But the point that it is being done now , only days before april 9th and 2006 deadline, shows that none of these sgt's truly care about the 2011 exam. They could care less if we all have to take another exam or what not. The point is just that they are all about themselves. OF course knowing that you would die on the 2006 list why not take a gamble and sue. If they lose, they lose $250 or maybe a bit more, if they win, maybe some of them will get a promotion. I can see why they are grasping and hoping, but again to say that this is about how unfair the 2011 exam is , is just a crop of ****. If i was half the man i was years ago I would take a flamethrower to that document. Out of order, you say we are ? Who do you think you are talking to ? I'll show you out of order. This is about a bunch of cry babies whining and trying anything possible to better themselves.
they r trying everything they can... they were hoping to get promoted on the 2006 list... now they know they wont, and will never pass an other exam.. F@ck these one way retards.. We don't need them as our Lt.'s .. they couldn't even score a 75 on a straight forward exam...
"Justice4allPD" thank you for posting the same advertisement on every single forum nailing home the fact that all you care about is scamming money. Loser. You had to know you might not have been promoted off your list it was HUGE! Three times as many people take the sergeants test every year and those lists are usually in the neighborhood of 400-700. Want help with the math? Your test was way too easy and thats why you were on it and why it was 1200 names strong you dumb**!!! Any other Lt's test you prob would/have scored in the low 50's (see dumba** comment from prior sentence).
I love how these 19 things are still trying to get people to join their cause even after a judge turned down their injunction. You tried to do a very sh**y thing in a feeble (that means weak) attempt to screw over your peers to get your way and it failed, now move on. What I want to know is if the people who joined this suit with list numbers in the 900's and above, and the one guy who isn't even on the list (Who either spent money just to see others not be promoted because he failed, or, is the dumbest member in police department history [or both!]) had any clue as to why they were suing in the first place. Well let me fill you in. The select few individuals with list numbers in the high 700's and low 800's thought that maybe, just maybe, if they sued the city over the 2011 test, a judge would grant them an injunction and force the city's hand into throwing in oh I don't know maybe 1-3 more Lt's classes from the 2006 list while this thing played out in court. So, for those of you with list numbers above that that are involved in this monstrosity, you never had a shot, and your fellow MOS solicited you for the same reasons the lawyers did. They wanted your money. They knew even if their cry baby scam worked, you still would never have been promoted. I'm assuming a few misinformed souls heard rumbles that back in 2003 there was a similiar situation with the Lt's test where a few extra classes got put in due to a lawsuit. Aside from the fact thats not true, the 2003 list hadn't totally expired, a huge difference from this one. So as for you 19 brave souls who decided to slander your names in the PD for the rest of your miserable carreers, you've wasted god knows how much of your own money, taxpayer money, and everybody's time. Please take your legal advertisements to the graveyard that is now the 2006 Lt's forum and let those of us who have stock in this test talk amongst ourselves like grown ups.
As for those of us still living on planet Earth, I have heard the protest session is in fact done and there is going to be approximately 15 throw outs/double answers. I truly believe most of the people who scored in the sixties will make this list and get promoted, with a list that will probably land somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 names. Hopefully the rumor that the list will be out on Monday is also true.

Everything is a rumor until it comes out. But for the first time I've heard the same number (15) from two people who are usually pretty solid with info. I personally don't know exactly when it officially ended. Maybe someone else does....

It does make sense considering the 2010 Captain exam had 8 throw outs and 7 double answers for a total of 15. Do you know exactly when the panel concluded?

Back when the answer key came out, someone working at DCAS said that 15 was the max amount of throwouts before the entire test had to be thrown out. I'm aware prior tests had more, but maybe it's a new law or double answers don't count. So 15 sounds legit!!

Yeah 15 might be the right number now is a matter of finding which 15 questions it pertains to. A buddy of mine (with a source at emd) stated 15 about a week ago. Hopefully the Monday release of list rumor turns out to be true.
I don't know the exact date it ended but it's around 2 weeks ago...confirmed. I have no info regarding the number tossed or which were tossed. 15 sounds legit especially if you guys are getting it from multiple sources. By the way, 15 will drastically change the landscape of the list. The 241 number (assuming that was accurate) could easily get boosted to 600 names with that many questions manipulated. So curious what they tossed or made a double. Should be interesting.

15 questions will definitely double or triple the list. Knowing that the panel concluded about two weeks ago leads one to believe that our list should be out fairly soon. I'll venture to guess within the next two weeks.
Anyone know why the Captains test had 15 double answers/ throw outs? From what I heard was 15 is the maximum that can be done. Anymore than 15 the test is considered a bad test and nullified. Since already there was a double answer and throw out, I can only presume 13 are subject to question.

There was a prior Captain exam with 22 throwouts/double answers.

i heard of the 15 plus questions = no test as well. I really cant say I believe it, since no one with such expertise confirmed it. And talking about expertise, do we know definitively that judge Rakower, castrated the plaintiff's suit with her markings on the April 6th filed papers?

Yes, it's actually noticeable on the lawsuit itself. However, I believe the judge did so because they were requesting for an immediate injunction on our list and an immediate extension to their list. It wasn't granted. Considering that their exam expires on Monday I don't foresee the Judge extending their exam on the May 1st court appearance.
