You know what really grinds my gears...? The 98% of members of this forum that claim to have "reliable sources" for information.
Who are these mysterious people that you claim to be reliable sources? Do they work directly for the P.C.? The Mayor's Office? DCAS? A wizard with a crystal ball? Or maybe God himself?
There are not that many people out there in the first place that all well connected like that.
I say to those who claim connections, should stop trying to add confusion to the forums. You don't know jack! And neither do I. Just log on read what the intelligent 2% has posted and log off unless you have ligitimate question to ask.
We all know that the final answer key is coming out sometime between the last week of March to about the third week of April. So give it a rest.
We ALL know the a certain amount of questions will be throwouts or doubles. Unknown for certain. So give it a rest.
We ALL know, or should all know, that Brat HAS been 99.999% accurate in what she has been posting. As well as maybe 2 others that post. (Sorry I don't remember the screen names)
We ALL know by history of the NYPD and DCAS that IF the list for a test like this contains 450 or less names, a new lieutenant's exam will be given in 2 years or so from the October 2011 exam. So be patient.
There are way to many forums that ramble the same nonsense over and over and over and over .....etc.
And that, is what really grinds my gears.
Until next time everybody - Stay safe!

There is a lot of wishful thinking going on. I can't blame guys given what a crazy test that was. It's hard sitting back and waiting until the list comes out. Civil service law is vague about the extension of lists. The job, with its typical lack of sensitivity, doesn't tell us anything. It's funny how much more bickering and clearly false information is on the forums than when I was waiting to see how my sergeant's test turned out.
Stay safe and good luck to all who prepared for that test.
Who really gives a Sugar Honey Ice Tea of what grinds your gears. You're like the rest of us; anxious. If you don't like what is being said, don't read it.
