Seriously bro, I been reading your crap since October and I do not post much but after reading your child like rants and beliefs I could not help but chime in on the matter. You must be one of those crybaby sorts who joined the NYPD thinking he is the only one whoo really knows how to fight crime properly. What is puzzling is that people actually beg to differ with your assessments and you bash them in return. Take for what it is worth but this has been confirmed by 3 separate sources and ne of them is an Inspector while the other two are Lt's.

The list shall be released sometime in the first week of April. If I were a gambling man I would say circle April 2 on your calendars.

The word is that about 1700+ passed.

One of the Lt's says he is pretty sure the first Bmoc off that list shall be Late April or early May.

Take the information for what it is but I am pretty sure these guys are reliable.

I have a high ranking friend that said the same thing. I think this rumor is spot on. Too bad the job is dragging its feet. It does seem like they are in no hurry to hire new Sgts. I hate Bloomberg and his credo of Do more with less.

To be honest you took the test in October. Relax! I think the official 09 sgt list came out around 16 months after the test.

Heard the same exact thing from my LT in OMAP. Beginning of April the list will come out with the first class the first week of May--not the last week of April. They ll need the numbers again by then---so they just sent the request to DCAS to finalize the list. Also--a steady flow of BMOC classes supposedly will be coming this year. this isnt top secret or secret squirrel stuff btw----he said everyone in OMAP knows this.

So your sgt friend is right even though several posters have heard the same information from 2 Lt's, a Captain and an Inspector. Need I remind you that these are all different sources. Amazing how stubborn or ridiculous some people are.
