Where did u hear March 10 they are supposed to put in one last class at the end of march from the 2006 list before it expires April 8

They could put out the list any day, that doesn't impact promotions from the previous list. The list for the '06 test was released a year before they began promoting off of it.

The info comes from a someone wearing a star on their uniform. I think the guy has a lot of juice in this dept.

From what I remember the 06 list was out in October of 07 but they didn't start promoting from it til April of 08. The reason being is that in the beginning of October 07 they overpromoted by 60 Lt's from the 03 test before the 06 list came out in late October 07 . There weren't 2 lists out at the same time. due to the over promotions to finish off the 03 list that is why they didn't start promoting til April of 08 off of the 06 list

There were two lists out at the same before, 2007 and 2008 sgt list. Also if you call dcas all lists info gets updated always on Sundays.

Anything more on this 8&5? The review panel should be over and done with. I don't think its that far fetched to think that they know how many are being thrown out at this point. Can anyone confirm that the panel is done? If so this rumor may have some truth to it

Not a rumor....I'm going out on a limb and saying that the list DOES NOT come out before April. I know some people said march but we all know how slow DCAS is.

look at it this way, they can do one last "courtesty" group from 2006 the day before the list expires in April, then usually at least one month is skipped between lt promos. So I don't see anything until june at the least.

why do i keep coming back to this site? to see what someone will say next. to see which rumor will be right or wrong. either way im still in disbelief over this test and like most of us praying to get some throw outs so all that hard work and lost family time will pay off...

10 and 6 is going to get a 650 to 700 man list. Most people will get about half of those 10 and 6 back. So your looking at everyone that scored a 62 and above. I don't think a list of 700 is that large at all.

I also heard that there are around mid 300s who scored in 60s. 10 and 6 would make everyone in 60s make it. Making a list around 600 - 650. That sounds about right.

Ill be the 1st to say that this test was awful. I want every question that deserves a throw out or double answer to be changed but, 10 & 6 is excessive imo.

HB I believe you said you scored 66. If the rumor is true of 10/6 you'll be lucky to pick up four points. I think. 10/6 is not excessive at all. This test was messed up.

10 and 6 is not excessive. The last capt's test had 7 and 7 and one tripple. I know a Lt that scored a 63 and didn't make the list because he only got 5 back.

By throwing 15 questions 2010 capt test doubled in size. I will go with that assumption. Throw 10/6 or 8/5 this list will get to 500 or less.

i believe 10 and 6 will bring list pretty large to like 990....and 8 and 5 will make it about 780
