How do I mail in the protest correctly?

I am sorry if this has been posted already, but can I TYPE my protest on the computer and just print 4 copies (original + 3 copies) or do I still have to handwrite everything and then make 3 photocopies of my original?

Also, if I am including a copy from Patrol Guide to justify my answer, is one copy enough or do I need to include 4 copies - 1 for the opriginal and 3 for the other 3 copies?

Good question.  That's the method I'll be using, with each individual question I'm protesting having its own page with header.  Seems like it should be fine, but haven't confirmed this with DCAS.  And I'm including 4 copies of the Patrol Guide to be safe.

The instructions mention an original with 3 sets of copies. I took them saying "sets of copies" as meaning the protest and supporting documents, so I sent 4 copies of the protest and 4 copies of the matching patrol guide procedure for each question.

i mailed away one original set and signed my name on each page and included my address and all like pink slip said on back. the other 3 set of copies you just 't have to put your social security number and exam number and date you took exam. if you dont have pink slip maybe you should ask, someone who does to see it because dcas says if its not done correctly they will not acknowledge it. its not hard, you just have to make a lot of copies because you have to make copies of the patrol guide material as well. i mailed my package in. it cost about six dollars ( worth it). you cant hand deliver, because its to a P.O box and dcas wont accept drop offs

I have a pink slip with instructions. What is not clear if I have to hand write my protest or I can TYPE it (on computer) instead.

Right.....but there is no way they would have been able to supply everyone with a computer; not to mention that electronic devices were not permitted. Obviously, it is a diffferent matter when you have a luxury of preparing a protest from home when you do have access to all kinds of electronic devices.
