This exam no longer involves me....after 35 wrong I stopped counting...that having been said...for the guys who are at 72-78 or so....all this protesting going on is bad...guys with 67-69 who pick a few points on these throwout/double/triple answers get their passing grade...then you factor their senority/military/medals/ etc. they end up getting a higher score than the guy who got the 72-78 who did not pick up points.....sucks for them.....I know that some people will say well everybody wins if questions get thrown out etc. but I dont think it is fair that some people will get promoted faster because of this "glitch"............my two cents.....feel free to comment...lol

If a question or answer is proven to be faulty and somebody picks up points, I see that as the person getting the points they should have gotten originally. Write better questions/answers in the future and it will not be a problem.
Yes i am one of those young guys with less than 10 years on who barely passed...but i know of good friends of mine that studied their brains out and didnt pass and this is their last chance as they are reaching closer to twenty. So even if i get jumped by 50-60 guys, it doesnt matter, i will be a Lieutenant for atleast half of my career if i do twenty.

that is cool.........but lets just say for example the list dies and you did not make the cut......your list number does not get called in time and all these people who jumped you get made and you dont....i am sure you will feel different....maybe not....not trying to start anything negative but you know what i am saying
If the question gets thrown out then it was no good. If the the question had a double answer then it was no good. I have no problem with people picking up points from faulty questions.

I know what your saying bro..but i cannot see a scenerio where there will be people dying on this list. Some guys are too hung up with the 2006 list that had nearly 1200 people on it. Worse case scenerio, this list will be half that...but even that i have a hard time seeing.
If Yolanda Vega says the power ball number is 8 but it was really 12, should the people with 8 win the money because she said it wrong or should the people with 12 win it because they had the real number? With this dcas lotto they give the money to both groups. If some of the people with 12 gets a bigger prize, so be it. They shouldn't get zero for someone's mistake. Yeah, I know. I have a gambling problem.

Your logic...may be flawed...because those who win doubles...and throwouts...also selected equally valid...if not better...answers...that...they...should...get...credit...for... . ...
I will agree to a point that anyone who scored a 70 or above and is protesting questions can only hurt themselves. They derive no benefit from a larger list. With that said.....protest away

That isn't true. If you benefit from 4 doubles/ throwouts and a guy with a final score 1 point higher than your's only picks up 2 then you pass him.

I already passed, I am protesting first bc I want DCAS to be held accountable for this garbage test and for my own interests, I don't want people to gain points on me for a question I got right and I thought was fair when I can clearly remember many unfair questions that I can pick up even more points on if I get out there and protest too. Also by going, there is strength in numbers, maybe my raw score goes from 73 to 77, so it helps me, but it really helps the guy that put the work in who only got a 68 or 69 and now may get just enough so he /she has a real shot at making the list and possibly even get promoted also.
I mean I only got 2 wrong on the in basket, if everyone there only protests in basket questions, that is only going to help them, probably not me. But if I go and challenge many faulty PG questions, I am helping my own cause and I am sure many got the same wrong, so the more the merrier. Everyone should go to those protests, that test was nonsense...
Another point I wanted to bring up was the fact that this test was such nonsense that it was frustrating. Not knowing the answer to a question is one thing, but knowing that the questions themselves were wrong is frustrating when you take these tests....if that makes any sense.
