Question asked for the least correct choice when notifying nys registry. Could possibly be a double answer. proposed answer key stated that l.t directs a cop to notify irt. choice b was to direct cop to notify nys registry. according to p.g its the duty of the d.o to notify nys registry not cops.
I challenged that for the exact same reason. In both A and B the PO is making the notification to IRT and then Central Registry respectively. They are both incorrect for the exact same reason- The DO is supposed to make those notifications. But I wrote that choice B is a better answer bc in the procedure they lock you into in the question, the DO always makes the notification in choice B, but not always on choice A where a PO could make the notification under limited circumstances (2 times) in choice A.

Someone look this up so I know I'm not crazy. I protested it but didnt have a P.G. on me (DUH!!) so I didnt attach a copy. Someone on the Next protest date use the point I just made but PLEASE attach a copy of the procedure.

I thought you didn't have to give them a hard copy?
You don't. But I would not leave it up to them to find the procedure. They may just say "couldn't find the mistake in the procedure he was referring to" and move on to the next question. Don't leave anything to chance. Learn from my mistake.
