Don't waste your time arguing with one another if a protest is valid or not.  People who are writing their protests don't want to hear it.  

 

Also, if you think you have a grounds for protest but are unsure and don't want to waste time on a question if you're missing something obvious, ask someone.  Might save you some time for better questions to protest.
