Total PASSERS =626 total commands scored = 50 total commands unscored = 51
with a total of 51 unscored commands and an average of 12 passing (the average is of the existing scores) if you make a educated guess using 12 for every unscored command you will get a total list of = 1238 names. A safe guess would be to average 15 passers to shut the trolls up. that gives us a total list of 1391 names. An extreme guess would be that 20 people passed in each unscored command! (this is unlikely) but that gives us a list of 1646 names.
Given what we know - 1)we have a list that doesnt expire for 4 years. 2) since last january the job has promoted approx 750 names. if you estimate 700 names a year (50 less than what the job did last year) in 2 years you have 1400 names in 3 2100 names. even if the job freezes hires for a year everyone still gets made.
the minimum passing score you need to get made on this list is a ---------- 70! so STFU

Dont forget the 100 other commands like misd, school safety, dcpi, police academy, gang units, det squads, warrants, building maint,cttf, all boro tf, narco boros, house mouse like pbbn, pbqn, pbbx, auxiliary police section, court section, iab and so on and so on you wont get a number till te list comes out stop with these polls its really nuts

thx keep posting and ill update ths list as i go along and then re-post. I hope that after reading my post you will all rest easy with your passing score. by Nov of 2015 this exam should promote everyone on its list provided no freezes and provided they really do promote in march of 2013. Please remember that the majority of you reading these posts are not the last guy on the list (doh statistics). So if you have in the mid 70's rest easy and dont get jammed up. It will be here before you know it.
And to the last guy on the list probably a 70.05 - At least you scored higher than the thousands that failed. you too will be promoted so congrats to you and to everyone.

throw in 12 names from those commands too. you still dont get 2000 names. the point of this post is that you will not have an outrages list. im not trying to predict the list. just show that all the bs posts of "3000 names" "9600 applicants" and "you need an 80 to get promoted" are not statistically possible at this point. Not to mention that with the exception of the police academy not many people even want to get promoted from the units you mentioned. i dont know anyone in harbor or aviation or k9 or esu that want to get promoted and lose the cushy gig they dreamed of for so long. and if they did i cant imagine that it would be many of them.

According to a guy in my command who has an in with someone at dcas, not as many ppl took this test as was originally reported or rumored. Everyone was saying 9000 ppl took it, however it seems like 4500-5000 ppl actually took the test. He was told that approx 1400 ppl passed. If this is true, i feel much better about everything!!

I hope 781 is the number lol... but 1400 seems more reasonable... If either of these numbers are true, everyone will get promoted. Dont listen to all these rumors of a cut off and ppl dying on a list. Its not gona happen. Everyone will go. It just might take a little longer than usual, but im ok with that ..

Did anybody bother to look at my original post? Yes everyone will get made! BUT no way is this list under 1000 names. Iam already close to 700 names with 46 unscored commands. This list is going to be about 1200 names. That's an educated guess not some stupid source. All your sources are wrong they didn't even do the throw outs yet. Those 69 scores are gonna get on the list too. (some of them) read my original post again. Stop listening to "sources" they are just guessing

Incorrect. They do know how many passed as of the proposed answer key. Hence, 241. Not "around 250." Don't be mad about it.

I agree with you 100%. How can we possibly know these "SOURCES" are reliable? I would go with the much more accurate and scientific survey as conducted on this thread.

Just letting you know I believe zookeeper because that's the number I got from OMAP for sergeants passing lieutenants. So if that's right then the other number might be.

Listen I want you to be right. The less people on the list the faster we all get promoted. I myself am somewhere in the middle of the list. I would much rather be in the middle of a 700 name list then a 1400 name list but I don't feel it's accurate. I started this poll to show everyone will get made and shut the trolls up. But somehow everyones sources went from "3000 names" and "you need an 80" to get promoted and "9600 people took the exam" to a complete reverse of " 781 people passed the exam." I hope your right by I don't believe you are based on the above original post.

Im with you. Everyone gets a 69, its amazing everyone falls for this every time. Fact is after throwouts the number will be 800-900 roughly. No way over 1000.

Let everyone doubt it, then when the list comes out, we'll get praise for being on point, same ol' story.

Guys. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but if 4000-5000 people actually did take this test and about 50% passed (that's about the percentage I see in many different commands), then we can easily see the list of over 2000 people. Hope it's not true. We'll see.

I will say I believe my command has a VERY high pass percentage compared to both other commands and past tests from what I observe and it is NOWHERE near 50%...maybe around 20%. 50% of people didn't pass, more failed than passed and that I would bet my life savings on.
