So u get 12Gs raise after 3 years and lose 28 chart days which equivalent to 28x400=11200. So the first 3 years u actually taking 33Gs pay cut in total.

Thats true for a top pay sergeant. If you get promoted with two years in rank as a sergeant than your making up for that and some.

28 chart days are for those Sgt's with steady days.

Yes, right, I am talking about top pay sergeant like myself.  Also for Tinman, being a LT u get steady days off, so in another word, U lose 28 chart days from being promoted to LT, u get it?
