THE QUES TO PICK THE BEST QUALIFIED S.O.L. HAD A LT. THAT WAS ADMIN TRANSFERED. ITS SEEMS THIS FACTOR WAS SUPOSSED TO DISQUALIFY HIM. I DID NOT KNOW ALL ADMIN TRANSFERS WERE NEGATIVE. THEN I FOUND OUT WHY I DIDN'T KNOW. IT'S IN THE ADMIN GUIDE IN A PROCEDURE THAT DOES NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT A LT'S DUTIES. IT ONLY MENTIONS "COMMANDING OFFICERS"......... PROTESTABLE? WE WERE EXPECTED TO DISQUALIFY THE GUY FOR A FACTOR THAT WE WEREN'T REQUIRED TO KNOW THE DEFINITION OF. THE PROCEDURE DOESN'T APPLY TO THE RANK OR DUTIES OUR TEST WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON.
THAT BEIG SAID SHOULD WE KNOW EVERYTHING A CAPTAIN CAN DO. IF SO THEY CAN TEST US ON ANYTHING IN THE PG ALSO. IT WAS A LT'S TEST. IF YOU USE CERTAIN DEFINTIONS OR TERMS IT SHOULD ONES WE ARE REQUIRED TO KNOW. ESPECIALLY IN A QUESTION LIKE THIS WHERE IT WAS SUCH AN IMPORTANT FACTOR.
The same concept applies as with other questions. Admin transfers doesn't apply to the rank the test was on therefore it should not be used as an eliminating factor. There are many things we "should" know that aren't testable because it doesn't apply to our rank. If this question is ok so is any other question they took free range on. Like the authorizing OT and the Dept Veh questions.
