No December class? Says who? Stop making things up if you don't know. They always do a December class so unless I hear otherwise from BRAT or someone in the know I am holding out hope.

I agree with Mr Gloves, there's usually always a thanksgiving and Christmas class. There isnt a thanksgiving class in now but I still have hope for the Christmas class.

Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't been posting but it has been really quiet on any rumors of Sgt promotions. If I hear anything, trust me I will post. I hope they start picking it up, I know its hard waiting on the list. Trust me when I say this, enjoy the rest of your time as a cop! I already miss it.

What about the fact that a LARGE recruit class would be graduating right before Christmas? Those guys are definetly gonna need supervision. Besides, based on past experience there is usually a holiday class.

I graduated the last bmoc class, and at the ceremony I was talking to one of the upfront guys and he said they told him he would be assigned to EMD until the next class in January.

Haha, Donnie gloves isn't getting promoted to next year. That's if they don't just kill this list, and start the new one. That's what I would do. Why would the job want to promote bottom of the barrel looser Sgts, when they can start the new list and get smarter better qualified Sgts.

I'd rather be a Sgt with a 70's ish score and 150+ Collars and a clue than a Sgt with a 90's ish score, a blown up ego and poor sense of humor. Every body knows who gets respected more.

Only 781 people passed this exam. Many would have loved to have just passed with a 70. Do u know how many people have taken the Sgts exam over and over again. Failed and just gave up. No need to get on this forum with ur negative comments. What do u call a Sgt that took the exam 15 times and then finally passed........Sergeant.

If there is no dec class for sgts and Lts, that might mean that the three ranks will be going in January, Also meaning that because of room there will b three small classes for all of us?

I have the worst luck ever. There have been steady promotions since the recession. If not every month, they promoted every other month. Now that I'm up to bat the pitcher decided to head to the dugout. Lol.

Ringer he didnt even know to be honest with you. When I had said i guess they'll just run you through BMOC in December thats when he said that they told him the next class wasnt until January. I wish I had more for you.

Anybody knows the maximum amount of ppl the academy can squeeze in at the same time, maybe 40 Sgts, 30 Lts, 20 Capts for january??

I think it will be 60 for January and 60 for February.

110 left on the list with another 20-30 passed over.

Any thoughts?

They didn't put a Dec class for Sgts and Lts, so most likely they will send the three ranks at once and how many of us can fit in the academy? For January, I'm estimating 40 Sgts, 30 Lts and 20 Capts, once again I'll b border line to being called!!!! But at this point, well, whatever lol

Lt's and Capt's don't go thru a full one month BMOC. It's only a 2 week course. Also they get promoted on the front end and therefore, could be utilized for details if absolutely necessary.

The Sgts in examx are expecting a promotion date for the 23rd, if they have to go thru a two weeks training, could that means that our bmoc would start the 2nd week of January? That would not fit the usual
pattern!

I'm pretty sure my former Sgt went through his training and got promoted at the end a couple of years ago, now that I think about it.
