Coping with a dumb mistake

The only question on this test I threw away that i knew the answer to was the PAR question at the end.  The right answer was hand it in the desk officer command of occurence.   I remember the key people stressing that it must be handed into the desk officer precinct of occurance.  That ****ed me to know end.  The procedure interchanges both phrases so I got in wrong.  The screwed up thing is if an accident happens On NYCHA property the command of occurance is going to be housing.  Yet, you would not hand it into the Desk officer of the PSA concerned.  This is what happens when you read to much into a question. I gave away a point and it will knock me down one class.
