Who Has Attended a Protest Session Previously?

How does it work? Do you bring materials with you? Do you have time to research the answers? Can anyone who has done this before, shed some light? confuse

U sit down with a copy of the test and they supply u a pg,pl,ag etc and u look over the entire test. My thing is when it comes to the judgement questions there not going to provide us with a book to review in regards. So how the hell is that part of the protest going to work?

It is in a big room, you have to bring your own PG, PL, dictionary, or whatever.  You have a lot of time to write protests on their paper and submit them. They take the no cell phone rule seriously, (possibly because there are exams going on in the DCAS building). You can talk to others while you are there.

True about the judgment questions. I wonder how they are going to address them. I guess if you cannot find support for your answer, then you just have to argue the reasoning. Very law school-esq.  I think I may sign up for this protest session.

I didnt give them that stupid card because I ran out of time. How can I go about attending the protest session? We have to all go there, all 2000 plus of us. If they are going to use all of us a guniea pigs, if we end up losing in the end, we have to at least go down swinging. We have to start a rally, get other important members of the department on our side, whatever it takes.

What will happen if all 2000 of us go the protest rally and start a rally??

Did you bring your pink sheet home? It's on there. Or I would call DCAS to inquire if you did not bring it home.

Thanks, guys seriously we need to start organizing now. Does somebody have any skills in knowing how to develop a website? If I did I would create one ourselves. The only chance that we have is to begin organizing now, and sticking together on this, all of us. I have heard from a dozen people who said they couldnt finish the damn exam. It has to be thrown out...whoever doesnt make that list or gets promoted has to sue. Before that list comes out, we have to do whatever it takes to get our message out. I spent 6 months of my life, slaving over that damn book. All of us lost out on tens of thousands of dollars in potential overtime we could of taken but instead declined, our times away from our loved ones, and wasted vacation days. Are we going to let them get away with this and do nothing?? Will we lose the battle? Maybe? However if all of us organize and stick together and do our best to fight this thing, I am going to at least know that we did our bests to stick up for whats right, and to stick up for ourselves, and for all of us. Are you going to let them get away with using us as Guinea Pigs on a experimental exam and not do anything?

EVERYBODY ON MONDAY HAS A DUTY TO THEMSELVES TO CALL DCAS, WRITE A LETTER TO DCAS, CALL THE UNION AND WRITE THE COMMISSIONER BY EMAIL. DO NOT BE LAZY WITH THIS IT MUST BE DONE. WHOEVER DOES NOT IS NOT ONLY LETTING THEMSELVES DOWN, THEY ARE LETTING ALL US SERGEANTS DOWN!!!!!!!!
