There was a question in rising star material where a cop issues a summons and than later on learns the guy is 511. Summons gets voided but what's included into the packet? summons avoidance form or copy of the summons.? I referred to p.g it says copy of the summons but to refer to 209 where it says that summons avoidance form will be prepared by co.

I would go with summons for d simple fact that d patrol guide refers to that in 208 (AUO procedure).

NOTE: During the original vehicle stop if a summons was prepared prior to obtaining the results of a name check, for any VTL violation other than Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, the summons must be voided. P.G. 209-18, 'Summons Served Or Prepared In Error' will be followed. A photocopy of the summons(es) prepared will be included as part of the arrest paperwork package that is forwarded to the district attorney. The VTL violations will be listed as separate charges on the OLBS.

Thinking like that's the difference between an 80 and waiting 5 years to getting promoted and a 90 and getting promoted next year.
