Possible Protest Questions

Hey Guys I hope everyone is going to do the right thing and protest question(s). If  you don't help yourself with a better list # you may help another MOS pass by one point and I'm sure "Good Karma" will come your way.  Here are some of the questions/answers to jog your memory.

1. 34 People on the In Basket

2. 10-17 Radio Code

3.The answer to the Cyms Question was Supply

4.The Female CMOS in the club is a MUST SUSPEND

5. Who is in charge of the Safe Return Program- The Community Affairs Officer

6. The J.D. Where do you bring him to when he's collared

7. The 105 Precinct for the lost I.D.

8. The Missing Question. I  put that Housing gets the #  but not 100% sure

9.The 3 Wheel Scooter Question

10.Your "Vest" is worm. What do you do ? Notify your immediate Supervisor.

Any other Questions guys remember please In Basket them to me. Thanks.

The only question that can be protested from this list is the force figures all the other ones are layups

I have two problems with this list you just made:

1) If you studied for even 5 minutes you would know that 9/10 of these questions can not be protested. The force figures may or may not be protested based on what was actually on the test.

2) There are people that still have not taken the test and you just gave them 9 points.

Ok moron, go try to protest a 10-17 radio code and let me know how that works out for you.
Thank You for proving to everyone what my initial opinion of you was.

There are two questions that can possibly be protested successfully, that force figure question and the firearm discharge. There was a choice of a discharge at the safety station, which is not a dept facility therefore an investigation is needed. Nevertheless the discharge at rodman's neck also requires an investigation because the choice never specified where in rodman's neck it occur. You better believe if you discharge your gun in the mess hall an investigation is conducted.

I believed it stated clearly that it was at the RANGE. Dude, you read too much into the question/choice. If they meant the "meatball sammich" hall, they'd have said so.

Jimbo, you must be kidding with that list of yours... C'mon dude!!

However, I do have beef with another in-basket question. The monthly/quarterly evaluation one. It was obvious that it's the DVO, however, the player involved was questionable. Why would YOU the Desk Sgt (B-1) do that? It didn't say anything about the fact that you were DESIGNATED to do that. I understand that you shouldn't read into the question or assuming anything. I just felt that that question was a tad unfair, no?

U have to go during protest period, I think, in person. They give u exam and you get to look through it and read question you want to protest.

You can mail in a protest. The information is on the back of your answer sheet you wrote your answers on.

I'd like to discuss this, after a conversation with someone... In regards to the Strangulation/Crim Mis question... Can a married/family couple recklessly or intentionally damage property...
If your married or in a relationship, can you smash a vase? would it be considered martial prop? or joint prop?
The penal law states "intentionally damage prop of another person" or the Felony, with intent to damage prop of another person and having no right to do so... Blah blah, but my question is... Does he/she have the right if its jointly owned???
Just curious what people are thinking....

The law was changed a few years ago and you can't break jointly owned stuff anymore:

"Property of another" shall include all property in which another
person has an ownership interest, whether or not a person who damages
such property, or any other person, may also have an interest in such
property.

The prisoner unusual should NOT have stated what is the Correct answer but what is the best answer...
Bcuz technically there were 2 correct answer and 1 best answer.

Yes or no?

gotabimer: Actually that is not the rt answer and I know you are worried abt ppl who didnt take the test... Thats def cool.
I am not looking for the answer, I already took it the test.
If you look im not asking for the answer or the choices.

I think since this question is debateable since there are 2 correct answers and 1 best answer.

My whole issue is they shouldve asked for the best answer and not the correct answer.

I dont need the answer again!
Im disputing the wording of the question thats all.

The scenario of the confrontation was not the best one. Once you draw your gun your automatically on duty, if something goes wrong that will be LOD. Therefore that scenario could be challenge.

I'm not directing this only at you bro, but at everybody that has been posting on this website trying to pick apart the questions and answer choices; playing with words.  Seriously, if we all are disputing the way they worded the test, then the whole friggin' test is disputable.  I'd ventured to guess that we all remembered that they used that "catch-all" word (MOST-as in MOST correct) in most if not all the questions?  Don't get me wrong, I felt the same way.  I was WTF at quite a few questions and their answer choices the 1st time reading them.  Quite a few tricks seemed rather unfair thus making the questions disputable AND a lot of correct choices only offered part of the correct procedures, not verbatim as stated in the PG.  That was why they asked for the MOST correct choice/answer!  Same concept as in "failure to supervise"... hahaa

Anyway, best of lucks to everyone, including myself.  Be safe out there.

If they wrote the best choice or answer I can't dispute that. Then I'd say that was a good tough question for prisoner unusual, if it stated to pick the best choice or most correct answer.

Are you sure about that? I thought they asked for the MOST correct answer 99 questions in a row and the incorrect one at the end, question #100.
