Hey "Brat",

Not looking to start any trouble here....however, just curious as to what your qualifications are to give out all the information and "advice" that you do? This is an open forum that we can all use to help each other and we are appreciative of those who do that. Just seems that you are a self-proclaimed expert in the field of NYPD promotional testing. Can you back any of that up??? Just wanna make sure you're not making it up as you go along, like most here do. Care to share how many times you had to take each test to get promoted, and to what rank, and what list #'s ???? Just asking - some of your advice over the years has been slightly flawed in my humble opinion. JUST ASKING......... nonono

I find it interesting that you have someone here who actually gives a damn about getting you guys some valid information (all of which has been correct). Someone who actually gives a damn about how you study, someone who helps get you access to study material (free of charge I might add)..........and you call me out ike you have (ON ALL THREADS).........don't listen to me if you dont want to, no one has to listen to me. I put it all out there to help. Maybe I shouldn't have.

PS: i dont owe you an explanation or a resume.

Qualifications? We now need to be qualified to give advice or information on a public forum regarding promotional exams? How about this for an idea, if you dont like what youre readingIGNORE IT ?!?

Self-proclaimed expert?? You must be referring to another person because I never got the impression that she claims to be an expert. I feel fortunate that she is willing to share solid information with the rest of us, when the norm for the Department is to either make up complete lies or to keep everything a secret.


 Care to share how many times you had to take each test to get promoted, and to what rank, and what list #'s ????


JCA, would you be so kind as to tell all of us YOUR rank and list number(s)??? Its irrelevant knowing what Brats rank and list number(s) are. Would it be better is she was a Chief and scored #1 on all her promotional exams BUT gave out completely false info???

It seems to me that your gripe with Brat is without merit and a little confusing to the rest of the members on this board. Hey Brat, the 99% of this board appreciates all you do with the study material, promotion info and just all around good advice, so let me simply say THANK YOU.

I find it interesting that she hides behind a screen name and still refuses to discuss her list #'s or how many times she had to take the exam to even get to sergeant. The information she is giving out needs to be qualified by her expertise (which she NOT have). I also find it hard to believe that someone in her position would unethically compromise that position......you should only know the real story. If you're not willing to come clean "Brat" and honestly present yourself, then we can all consider this thread officially closed. I'm now done....thank you for letting me vent and express my 1st Amendment right.
