MN50, you are spot on. 5 years as a cop, never had a cd, minor violations log maybe twice. But in the nearly 3 years as a boss I have gotten 7 Cd's and I feel I am put in the minor violations log weekly. Its unreal, you read the minor violations for bosses and talk to your fellow supervisors about their cd's and its sickening. It seems that the job has just taken to hammering bosses for everything, its sad. One of my sectors drove away from a 52 without giving a final with the shoe-fly hiding around the corner and i got one, guys go to grab a bite to eat 1 block out of command, i got one. On the 4x12 desk s.h. full of complainants, cops all over the place, i miss a foot post walk past me to go upstairs to use the facilities, he gets caught by the shoe-fly, i got another one. They hit you for sh*t that is totally out of your control. If i have a mos involved domestic and I try to sh*t can it and I get caught, then yes, by all means give me one. If I'm on the desk and a prisoner escapes, (even though it was up in the squad and he was there from the previous tour and no one informed he was there), thats fine, I can eat that one. But the POS cop sleeping in a hospital bed and the d.c. is putting me on paper? Please. I'm sorry, just needed to vent, MN50 hit a nerve. Thanks for listening.

Talk to your ICO and delegate and try to expedite the cd. I think they only matter if they are pending when you are about to be called. I would think that if your ICO or assistant ICO were any kind of people they would try to look out for a future supervisor...of course it does depend on what it's for..but I would try to talk to them...I did...

Peace.
