Im hearing nothing until fall.

Rumor I heard was about 50 for 8/2/10. Not really a reliable source. Kind of sucks, I was hoping for a July class and then a September class but I'm not too sure of that now. Hope I'm wrong and a class goes in July. Good luck guys.

Just reporting from what I heard from a guy with a reliable source that has a VERY reliable source that knows a PAA that works in an office next to the personell office that knows another PAA that used to work there that talks to another PAA that retired 5 years ago who passed by to visit, over heard behind a closed door that a P.O. at personell was telling another P.O. that he read on the bathroom wall that a reliable source said that the 2009 exam will start promoting after the New Year. 20 every other month up to list number 450.
Just what I heard. Its reliable.  It is confirmed that its reliable information and reliably confirmed information.

sorry to have to say this but he's right there will be NO JULY class it was cancelled do to the new budget (nypd didnt get much money only money for new hires) so they will be only promoting  Lts and capts on friday

i confirmed it with promotional unit and they said its cancelled as of this morning

im just as upset as u guys cause im suppose to be in this class

well, if it was only cancelled this morning then it's possible that it gets un-cancelled tomorrow morning. very unlikely, but stranger things has happened.

Listen guys, I was told today by a Cpt. that works in the Chief of Personel's Office that 64 bodies were going in on Monday the 5th and that the finest would come down tomorrow. I just hope he's right

The fat lady hasn't sung yet so we don't know if there's a class going in or not. But if there's going to be a PA class of 1,300, at a ratio of 1:8 we need 160 Sergeants to supervise them. Why are things still moving so slow? Will they at least finish this list before the class graduates?

In the academy now...went to uniform promotions on the 8th floor....no Sgt class for July.

I'm still hearing that the finest will be comming down today!!!

i hate this ****ing job how are they going to promote sgts to Lts and not replace them im at the point when it comes it comes 

It is 1739hrs, i thought the finest comes down after 1800? Is anyone @ work?

This is crazy. Month to month anticipation is not right but I guess we will need to start an August thread or for that matter 2011 Jan

Finest came down for Lts and cpts. Nothing for sgts. Damn!

this is some f***ing bull****. wow how the hell do you promote Lts, capt's and detectives who are getting promoted soon as well, and no Sgts. am i the only one who finds that odd??????
