Well I'm on the 08 list and now that the 09 list is established we got guys on the 09 list forum talking crap about how are list is getting cut!!!!furiousfuriousfurious

Don't worry about it. The whole "A lot of the big brass have friends on the next list" statement is so retarted and is said about every test. I'm just surprised that thread wasn't started the day their list came out...

As i said in another topic, lists arent killed for no reason.

A big boss doesnt wake up one morning and say, 'eureka! you know what? im tired of that 2008 list. Lets cut it short and move onto the 2009 one!'

Not gonna happen.

Dude, don't understand how people finds time to post nonsense. Nothing will get cut short and those who pass the 08 and 09 exam will eventually get promoted. for the past few years it's taken approximately two to two and half years to promote everyone on a list.

i am pretty high on the 09 list, and there is NO WAY the 08 list will be cut, (nor would i want it to). everyone studied hard to pass these exams, and everyone deserves to get promoted. this whole freakin job is 'i heard' this and that lol. plus everytime they cut a list back in the day a lawsuit follows which fu!ks the whole thing up. everyone will get promoted thats on the 08 list. its just a shame the people start nonsense just to stir the pot.

According to civil service law, the list has to be open a certain amount of time. Our list is just over a year old. Im not exactly sure how long it has to be open, its either 2 or 4 years. Either way, our list isnt going anywhere

doesnt matter how hard or easy an exam was cause at the end of the day the stripes look the same. but alot of these quacks are annoyed because they either failed or theyre just 'one way' pricks that only want themselves to get made and screw everyone else on the list. i am an 09 guy and i would never want to see a cop get skipped due to the bullsh!t this job dishes out. we can all wait a few extra months if necessary.
