Hey what about the CIMS question with the auto extraction. I thought I nailed this but someone told me I might be wrong. Wasnt the answer NYPD AND FDNY?
body of the question stated sector team was on scene and observed the crash, technically they never arrived they were there. then it went on to say FDNY truck was first to arrive followed by PS 2 mins later i believe. A technicality maybe? worth protesting? long shot but hey a point is a point
i put fd....i looked it up and it actually says that its first to arrive...but it doesnt state if patrol sectors without any type of rescue equipment count...im assuming that FD will use all neccesary euipment to save the driver and passengers...its worth protesting because the question was not clear...neither is the patrol guide.

i already posted my projected answer key...just got this from 15 people 10 who really studied n attended class with a member on my team- averages below..just as inconsistent as the rest...still think these keys are too inaccurate however im just as eager to get the results so im playing along !
i really dont know how accurate any of it is ...i probably got somewhere in the 60s myself ...testtakers key is probably most accurate but i think about 10 questions can go either way that havent been accounted for n thats y every1 is wondering about accuracy because alot of us r getting within 10 pts of passing lol such as myself so hopefully this 2nd key i posted wasnt true but then again im scared because it makes more sense for me 2 do worse then better ...afterall dont the odds say we fail ? chances r only about 5 posters on this whole forum pass
Hey sig226, I agree with you on number 16. I'm 100 percent sure its B. It was the crime scene question, and no you dont notify them because the robbery injury was not with a firearm but a knife. I read that the night before the test. For 37, I also got A, but I was half and half. Do you remember the question?
37 was the question where the mother got arrested for assaulting her son or something and then it asked what was the cops job with the SCAM report, A was to call the nys registry and put it in the telephone record, but thats the desks job, and D was to tell the dad about safe horizon
hwoarand i absolutely remember that question cuz they gave us a slip with a correction. answer choices a and b were the duties of the DESK OFFICER!! the question stem asked about the arresting officers duty. c was some nonsense and D is the correct answer choice to i.d. non abusing p/g and refer them to safe horizon...
jack i hope we are in the same boat. i busted my ass even more for the past month. based on ur a/k i get 75 on testtakers i get 76 and i noticed a pattern on certain questions like the last 10 questions every1 pretty much got them the same as well as the middle part.
Sig i picked the same answer as you did. Unfortunantely we are both wrong. U dont send the father to safe horizon,u send him to VICTIM SERVICES. And i checked in the Guide myself.
And yes Desk Officer makes entry in telephone record eeven if ACS refuses the case still makes entry. This question is going to get thrown out anyway. Everytime they give you a Slip at the test day they end up throwin it out
FOr the CIMS one I put NYPD & FDNY (whichever arrives first) because thats what it says in the patrol guide. SO thats technically right but I guess they wanted to know which one it is according to how the arrived in the question. I totally misread what they were looking for. Im pissed because it was a gimme question.
also remember guys has anyone notice that when they ask a question about cims on the test the answer is always NYPD in charge. they will never put fdny n charge remember that. The answer is NYPD only because as FDNY arriving they see the sector car leaving which measn we were 84 first. so we are N charge not FD.
THAT MADE ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. THEY HAD A SECTOR ON THE SCENE BUT WAS LEAVING WHEN F.D WAS ARRIVING. THAT SOUNDS LIKE A QUESTION THAT NEEDS TO BE THROWN OUT. CLEARLY THE SECTOR WAS NOT HANDLING IT, F.D WAS. THIS WHOLE TEST IS JUST A MESS
20andout, I agree with you. Sector was leaving, so FD was there. Plus, what can a sector do in an auto extrication? I'll tell you, sit there and watch, thats why FD should be in charge, as they are more experienced with that type of work. I put FD down.
doesnt matter in real life hworang answer is nypd single command element. of course on the street we gotta do what we gotta do but according to that f*cking book the answer is us only.. check it out yourself. the sector was there first
