Chapters to hit the hardest on every exam!!

Hello everyone,

I was at the KEY class and the inspector there said the hardest chapters that are hit are in this order: 1) 212 Command Operations (at least 12-20 questions) 2) Complaints 3) Arrests 4) Duties and responsibilities. Is all this true? Say if you give these chapters all you've got and hit it very hard and ace the in-basket whats the possibility to pass the exam?? i know they can throw any amount of questions on any chapter but are these chapters really the ones hit the hardest??? I'm thinking about nailing these chapters the hardest of all the chapters. Any suggestions?idea.gif

Every procedure and every chapter are as important as the next.

Trying to work the percentages doesnt work on a test where everything is fair game. Study everything.

IF the Key is saying that, they're idiots! EVERYTHING is fair game. Let me say that one more time: EVERYTHING is fair game. There was one recent test where 10% of the questions came from 211! 211? Who the hell studies that? You guys need to read it ALL...
If you're trying to figure what's important and what's not, what should I study and what I can avoid, etc., then you're DOOMED and have just prepared yourself for failure. Read and study it all!!!
Sorry to be so blunt, but some guys really crack me up. They want to take shortcuts to this intense process and then when they fail, they cry that the test wasn't fair! idea

Think of it this way JCA, one less person to have to compete for a higher spot on the list, what guys who think like this who want shorcuts, or the guys who cant understand why they failed after studying for two months before the test is that you have to go full boat. Regardless of what your personal study methods are, you have to read every section of the patrol guide, period.

I'm not sure what's wrong with telling students that 50% of the questions come from certain chapters so make sure you hit those sections. The Key is not telling you not to study other chapters.

What test was that?

The number of questions asked on 211 over the last few tests were:

2007 - 2

2006 - 2

2003 - 0

2002 - 0

1999 - 0

there were a million 211 questions on the latest LT exam.............came at me from left field.........and I studied juveniles like a lunatic for that exam and not 1 question..............so who knows.
212 is big on the exam because it is about 350 pages long to begin with, so yeah, its gonna show alot on the exam.
