does anyone know what list number they are going up to for the class going in on the 30th, im in the high 300's and  got passed over and wanted to know if i stand a chance??????

transit i might be wrong but you prob hit 5 yrs in january ??  if you got passed over because lack of time they will just put you in when you hit 5 years. Even if they kill your list.  They will start hiring off of the new list then just put you in w/ those who made the 08 list

yea those still waiting relax, with the 67 left theres also a bunch of 09 guys who have to wait more, if theres a class of 40 in september that should complete the list and leave the leftovers to wait for time.  theres no need to think you will be cut, it will happen, just a matter of time as mn said

yes, they can, but it appears there is enough people left for them to have one more class off the 2007 exam.

For those of you that know people that did not pass the last exam, it looks like they will definately be issuing another one very soon.  DCAS has been calling people that did not pass and asking them if they will take the next sergeant's exam.  One guy from my precinct received a phone call this week.

Now why would they do that? are they going the way of the recruiting section and begging people to sign up for the test?

The Key and Fast Track websites just announced there will indeed be a sergeant's exam Jan. 24, 2009 filing period in September.
