Anyone live up in orange county or is familiar with the area? I live way out east now and was thinking of moving upstate and putting a 57 in to go to the bronx. Pine Bush, Monroe, Warwick looked kind of nice. Just wondering if anyone has any info in regards. Thanks.
Come on, someone has to live up there or have partners that live up there. Help a brotha out, don't want to move into some ****hole neighborhood. My future children thank you.
I moved up here to the OC almost 2 years ago. I am not moving back to the city. People come here on the weekends to "get away from it all." Well i get away from it all year round. It is a bit of culture shock living here, for examples, if you need food late at night, (milk, butter, etc. ) you can't just walk down the block at 2 am and buy it. It is also nice to go to bed at night and open your windows and not get awoken by some boom box, teenagers, sirens, etc.
jUST IF YOU DECIDE TO MOVE HOWEVER, be wary of your commute. Pine bush is about 40 minutes from where i live, i am just over an hour to my command. You must also realize that when it snows, your commute one way can be 3 hours, traffic in the summer can also be a nightmare. Rain means everyone drives slow.
If you decide to look for something up here, go by school district. Pinebush, monroe woodbury, warwick valley, are probably the top 3.
