Will definitely do Leatherneck. Day 1 was paperwork and introductions. Day 2 we started doing roll calls for practice and had a guest speaker from Early Intervention Unit. After hearing this guy speak I wanted to kill myself. biggrinbiggrinbiggrin  Just kidding if that Sergeant trolls this site and is some kind of computer whiz who can track me down. Bottom line is the BLCs are pretty tame and boring until the dream sheet comes out, which is I think the 2nd or 3rd week. Promotions are set for March 28, tentative date of course. And of course if we hear anything about BLC # 3 we'll post.

First week was good. Instructors are all very good with some of them especially entertaining. Lots of lectures from different units in the department, or course some better than others. Paperwork to fill out, practice roll calls, things of that nature. No word on future classes yet and I think the wish list comes out the second week of BLC, not sure of it though.

Dreamsheets are coming down next week. Just wanted to let you all know they start serving the Kool-Aid here. The drinks are on the sidelines, they don't push it down your throat but with all the warnings and the emphasis that we're on probation it gets you thinking. Bottom line is enjoy your time as a cop, it isn't the same as being a boss.

Just do your job, don't shake out, and don't let CD's scare you.
