CRIMINAL JUSTICE BUREAU- 2 TO 3 SGTS
Regarding the next class, BMOC says most likely in February but nothing has come down yet and the job is short 400 sgts
The classes are ok some lectures are interesting, and some are just plain boring. Bosses at BMOC are really good, and very pro cop so far the only message I hear from them is "Take care of your cops"
Shaky, thanks for the dream sheet. We have been waiting for someone from the current bmoc class to keep us informed with the latest and the greatest. Thanks again any other info you get regarding the rest of us in this list is greatly appreciated. Hope you get what u want and wish you the very best in your new cmd.
You are right, there are about 75 spots on the dreamsheet.
Now this might sound like a stupid question but I'll ask anyway: Do all of these slots have to get filled and therefore if there are 75 slots on the dreamsheet there must be 75 people in BMOC?
There is really nothing much to give. I do understand your frustration because I felt the same way with previous classes. Nevertheless, the class is going well and we have not heard anything concrete regarding the next class. The instructors are excellent and very straight forward. If they had any info they would have certainly told us.
For the most part what is on the dream sheet is what gets filled, but there may be pressing departmental issues (phone calls) which may add to or remove certain commands from the dream sheets and cause the end resulting commands to change slightly.
Hey Sti, how is it going in MTS by the way? Weren't you promoted in November of 2006? I believe we were on the same list I got promoted a month after you. Doesn't it feel good to have a year behind us? I know one thing as hard as it was being a Sergeant in the beginning, I wouldn't change positions with a cop for all the money in the world. To all of the officers waiting to go into BMOC remember what it feels like to be a cop and a sergeant is only as good as his cops.
It's going great pal, thanks for asking. I got into special ops after about 8 months on patrol. I've been doing a cool 35 hours a month ever since. I have no complaints.
There are actually 76 in BLC right now. On Friday they stated nothing as of yet about a class going in February. Our graduation has been pushed back to the 31st which is a Thursday and we will go to our commands on Friday. My advice to those that are on the list. Start saving up some money to buy equipment and things that you need. It gets expensive. If I receive any other information I will post it up.
