I mean, with 10 you get a to keep your health benefits. But if you dont got nothing lined up. Ill say stay and retake it. 10 more and you done. What other job you can say imma do 10 and retire.

If your goal was Capt, you know wont reach that until after your 20th year and thats assuming it youll do well enough to be in the first couple of classes. It ridiculous how long you have to wait to take these tests

Does anyone know how seniority points would be affected if you to retake the Sgt exam ? If demoted and have over 10 years otj would you get the full 6.7 next time you take it ?
