The Sergeants make-up exams will be administered the first week of December. Expect the panel to be selected & throwouts to be determined shortly thereafter.

Does this give us an approximate idea of when the list will be out? Does the job plan to roll directly into a new list after January, or will there be a gap of a few months in between?

Hopefully everything gets moving swiftly since the previous list is almost done.

Was it this way with the captains exam too? Im sure there was a make up exam for them for the people who werent able to take the first one. Their throwouts have been determined and added already probably before their makeup exam. Just weird how theyre doing ours so dragged out for every little portion and detail.

What if someone is on military, pregnancy leave or some other long term illness/injury and can not take this make up exam that is supposedly this month of December? DCAS must allow them to take the exam at a later date? How long after an exam must the city allow someone to take an exam without the person suing DCAS? Any info would be helpful?

They will allow you to take it upon return. Lets say you are deployed for a year, when you come back, they give you a certain amount of time to study, and then you take it. If you pass, and the list is already published, you are placed on it wherever your score puts you. If they already passed where you would have been promoted, then you get put into the next BMOC.
