must be a delay in the system with everyones score
proctor says 2-3 weeks for protest session.
last test took about a month for the scores to come out...and even after that they were readjusted afterwards because of some "mistake"

Apples and Oranges.. Different times, similar yet different struggles:
-April 2015: Lt exam
-May 2015: protest session
-Feb 2016: Initial list came out
-Around March 2016, Police Commissioner sent email to entire department that there will be zero throw outs
-Around May 2016, Police Commissioner sent email to entire department that there will be 3 throws outs
-July 2016 final list establish
-August 2016 1st class was promoted
Above are estimated times to the best of my recollection.
Just an FYI, take it for what its worth.

What do you think the hold-up on posting scores really is? They clearly have everybodys score and releasing a raw score means nothing to DCAS. Why isnt this info public on their dashboard? Why is everybody listed as Absent? Do you think there is something going on we should be concerned about?

During that time frame from April 2015 to August 2016, was there a LT list that they could still promote from? I say this because the current Sgt list expires in January, so I highly doubt the job will be able to go over 6-8 months with no Sgt promotions.

To be honest, I wouldnt be surprised if they tried. Come January another huge class is scheduled to retire, plus there are still holdouts who are eligible and waiting for contract to be settled.

Not true......There was no January 2003 Academy class. The next class after July 2002 was July 2003.

Word on the block... Chief of Personnel Martin Morales is being forced to retire after being blamed for the disaster that occurred around the SGT Exam. He was supposed to work together with DCAS to ensure that the process and the administration of the exam went smoothly, which it didn't. DCAS, DOI and the Department have received so many complaints and negative media attention that they're forcing him out the door.

Morales last day is today. He has nothing to do w the difficulty. You can blame rest writters for that. As for not being involved in the process, that can be true and I dont know what was expected of him in regards

Chief Morales is a stand up guy and one of the best bosses out there by far! Hes the latino version of Chief Fox..he bleeds blue! So your angry is misguided. The exam writers are the ones who write and submit the questions to DCAS. And DCAS selects which questions they want to test. Unfortunately you cant give a psychological exam during the selection process of the exam writers and DCAS loves screwing this Department at any chance.
