Check your DCAS accounts; many people have received their test date and times. Like WE said MONTHS ago, 8/3 and 8/4.

Also, if i read the notice correctly it says the AM session test takers can't leave the test site until the PM session is checked in I'm guessing to prevent passing information. Aug 3 and Aug 4 must have different exams.

Received admissions notice but DCAS didn't specify what would be on the test exactly. It says multiple choice and it's 4:30 hours, so 100% no in basket. Are we supposed to get more information or is this it?

I got August 3rd at 0730 am. Does the 4:30 hr time indicate no in basket ? Does the fact we can bring calculators indicate its paper and not online ?

@keycapt / @eze Any thoughts/ heard if we will receive score upon submitting our test? The admission notice does not say Either way

The first promotional exam to be administered on a computer terminal was the 2017 Captain exam. At the end of the exam when you hit submit you were given a raw score....

So they're gonna have 3000 miserably disgruntled employees sitting in a room with no way way of leaving until 1230. Give them their grades (for an exam based off of a 2k+ page guide written in a fashion akin to an acid trip), and force them to lament about the 8 months they just wasted. Stew in silence about the fact that they have zero prospects for career advancement likely for another 6 years. This sounds like an excellent plan, with no room for issue.
