I did get a laugh out of this and the way people get stirred up over it ... when it happens itll happen ... whether your the first to know or the last its still a waiting game ... relax guys ... we passed, now its a waiting game ... were anxious for the list to come out, then anxious to see if they are promoting, then your anxious about what command you go to ... its just stressing you out for what?? Itll happen ... I check the star every few days just to see if any info came out but no ones got the list for fitness points and military so were still just waiting ... some guys on here are lighting Forrest fires to watch a pot boil when in reality you just need to walk away because we have no control over the burner and either DCAS or the job is controlling the heat ... itll happen fellas enjoy the laughs and relax ... Not stirring the pot here. On a serious note Im hearing May for the list from a really good source now, not going to burn my source. Im not too happy about it bc I was hoping April. The source could be wrong but thats whats going around. I hope Im wrong but well see. Be safe out there guys and gals

They do normally send the vet pref letters prior to releasing the list. This is done first so they won't have to re-issue the person a new list#. If you get the vet pref credit AFTER the list is established, they will probably issue you a new list # ending with .5, this has happened in the past. For example, if you were #200 Before getting the vet pref credit and after getting the vet pref you skip 100 people, you will probably be issue a new list # of 100.5 bc there's already a person with list#100.

I know of a sergeant who had his points added in 2011 after the list was established. Not sure if others had a similar situation.

- First is Veterans appointment to ask you if you truly want to use the points on this exam or save them for the next. Then they finger print you and have you sign a form.
- Shortly After all the Veterans on their "veteran list" are contacted in person, the real FULL list comes out with everyones list number.
- If they screw up on your points & they aren't calculated correctly ex: Awards, TOJ, JST (always double check) then you will be issued a new list number ending in .5 for example going from list number 550 to 235.5 They will not establish a whole new list and give everyone new numbers you will just be between two numbers already established bumping someone.

Nothing on list size but ppl are saying the 7-8 throw outs are starting to sounds legit. I refuse to believe it though
